Compared with previous years, this year's Shoe Expo has more outstanding features.

There are 73 exhibitors, and a number of well-known Taiwanese businessmen groups such as Taiwan footwear industry association have participated in the exhibition.


Wang Maoquan, vice mayor of Jinjiang Municipal People's government, told reporters that after 13 years of development, the shoe Fair has become one of the largest exhibition of footwear brands in Asia, and is honored as "the ten greatest attraction exhibition in China".


Under the background of continuously deepening exchanges and cooperation between Fujian and Taiwan, Jinjiang actively takes the shoe fair as a platform, with the establishment of the Taiwan Pavilion as the carrier, and promotes cross-strait industrial cooperation to further docking in the "first trial".

"Taiwan enterprises have certain advantages in technology research and development, shoe machine production and product sales, while Jinjiang, as the manufacturing base of the global footwear industry, has a fairly strong production capacity and a complete industrial chain. Jinjiang's footwear industry and Taiwan counterparts have strong complementarity.

The establishment of the Taiwan Pavilion will help to realize the complementary advantages of the footwear industry on both sides of the Strait.

Relying on big projects to promote industrial pformation and upgrading is another feature of this shoe fair.

During the exhibition, China Jinjiang international shoes spinning City officially launched in Chen Tai, the shoe industry.


According to Wang Maoquan, the total planning area of the project is more than 2500 mu, which integrates the functions of display and trading, information release, industry consultation, service matching, logistics distribution, exhibition promotion and so on. After the completion of the year, the paction volume is expected to reach 120 billion yuan, and the employment population will be 150 thousand. It will become the largest and most comprehensive product in China and the Asia Pacific region, the latest sports shoes and footwear raw and auxiliary materials, footwear machinery and trade distribution center with footwear related industries.

Its completion will strongly promote the pformation and upgrading of the footwear industry in Jinjiang.


It is worth mentioning that the cultural heritage function of this shoe Fair is further highlighted.

The second China Youth shoes industry summit forum, 2012 Jinjiang sports shoes production skills competition, the Sixth China Shoes Capital (Jinjiang) cross strait sports shoes design competition, the twenty-fifth "Jinjiang postdoctoral forum", the Fifth China (Jinjiang) shoe culture animation creative competition, China (Jinjiang) shoes culture T-shirt graffiti contest and the fourteenth China (Jinjiang) International Footwear Expo live photography competition.


The reporter noted that this year's 14 events organized by the shoe fair are mostly related to culture and brand.

"Shoe Fair is not only an effective platform for production and marketing butt, but also carries a heavy responsibility for the cultural connotation of innovative shoes. The successful holding of the shoe Fair has witnessed the process of branding and market internationalization of Jinjiang shoe companies."

In Wang Maoquan's view, brand is the carrier of culture, and the brand culture of innovation and influence and penetration is becoming the focus of Jinjiang shoe enterprises.
