US Cotton Export Weekly: US Cotton Exports Increase, China Accounts For More Than Half
According to the US Department of agriculture (USDA) report, in May 29, 2020, 4 months on -6, the US cotton export volume of 90709 tons in 2019/20, decreased significantly compared with the previous week, significantly increased compared with the previous four weeks, the main buyers in China (47557 tons, including 499 tons from Vietnam, 6515 tons), Vietnam (39997 tons, including 454 tons from South Korea), Pakistan (2996 tons), Turkey (2520 tons), Thailand (23 tons, including the cancellation of 204 tons), cancel the contract with Malaysia (1203 tons), Bangladesh (636 tons) and South Korea (454 tons).
2019/20 US land cotton export volume of 66806 tons, an increase of 24% over the previous week, an increase of 18% over the previous four weeks, mainly to China (19613 tons), Vietnam (15300 tons), Turkey (12826 tons), Pakistan (7355 tons), Bangladesh (3587 tons).
In the year of 2020/21, the amount of us land cotton export contract was 43902 tons, the main buyers were China (36706 tons), Vietnam (4994 tons), Malaysia (1203 tons) and Bangladesh (795 tons).

The main buyers were China (204 tons), India (114 tons), Pakistan (91 tons), Bangladesh (91 tons) and Turkey (91 tons).
2019/20 US Pima cotton export volume of 3337 tons, a significant increase compared with the previous week and the first four weeks, mainly shipped to China (1884 tons), Pakistan (545 tons), India (295 tons), Bangladesh (204 tons), Egypt (159 tons).
2020/21 signed 23 tons of Pima cotton export contract, the main buyer of China.
